Personal-Social Skills:

  • Does your child work collaboratively toward a goal with peers?
  • Does your child tell his own first name?
  • Does your child put on all clothing except fasteners?

Cognitive Skills:

  • Does your child sort by two characteristics?
  • Is your child using different voices for different people in play?
  • Does your child answer at least one "why do" question appropriately?
  • Does your child understand part-whole relationships (e.g., tail of the dog)?

Communication Skills:

  • Does your child name most pictures and line drawings of familiar objects?
  • Does your child follow three part commands (three objects, one action or three actions, one object)?
  • Does your child respond appropriately to "where" and "why" questions?
  • Does your child repeat three-word sentences?

Motor Skills:

  • Does your child build a tower of 8-10 blocks?
  • Does your child spread with a knife?
  • Does your child snip with scissors?
  • Does your child jump over 2-inch hurdles?
  • Does your child stand with stable posture on one leg with hands on hips and opposite knee bent (1-2 seconds)?
  • Does your child catch an 8-inch ball with arms in front of body?
